Part 1: Prepare Snowflake Open Catalog

In the following video, we prepare the Snowflake Open Catalog following the documentation here. We encourage you to follow along with the documentation while watching the video. The following steps are completed in the video:

1. Create Snowflake AI Data Cloud Account
2. Create Snowflake Open Catalog Account
3. Setup storage bucket with permissions for StreamNative
   • Option 1: Use your own bucket (recommended)
   • Option 2: Use StreamNative provided bucket
4. Configure AWS Account for Snowflake Open Catalog Access
5. Create Snowflake Open Catalog
6. Provide StreamNative Access to Snowflake Open Catalog

We’re ready to move onto Part 2 and deploy the BYOC Ursa Cluster with built-in support for Snowflake Open Catalog.
